So much so that we overlooked Harmonix's other news regarding Rock Band DLC and how uber popular it has been, distributing (to date) 6 million downloads (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/20/rock-band-surpasses-6-million-song-downloads/). 6 million! And if you recall, back in January MTV and Harmonix were trumpeting their horn when they announced sales of 2.5 million DLC downloads (http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/01/18/rock-band-wows-with-2-5-million-song-downloads/). Knowing that, in two months time gamers have purchased an additional 3.5 million tracks. Yeah, it's safe to say that the music industry has another revenue source.
