Hello!
I haven't looked in the PSP scene for a while, and I'm stuck with FW version 3.02 OE-B. And I wanna update my PSP to the latest FW version. I've looked into psphacks.com and it had 3.90 firmware for download. I'm wondering if I need to downgrade to 1.5 and upgrade or can I upgrade to the newest firmware straight away?

Can someone explain me in noob terms please, I'm a year behind the PSP scene and also pretty drunk :)

Everyone seems to say (to those upgrading from 1.5) to upgrade to 3.52M33, then 3.52M33-4 then the latest.

I would assume its the same for people on lower CFW versions as once your running 3.52M33-4 its the same setup whether you came from 1.5 or a lower CFW.

I would go that way to be safe, you can download all the needed versions of the CFW here: http://www.dark-alex.org/.
