2 internal hdd's in my ps3?

is it possible to connect 2 sata hdds to my ps3 as internal not external at the same time with extensions and adpaters plus pluging them into the wall without power from ps3

i know about hooking 3.5' hdds to ps3 with extension cables and another power source but is it possible to do what i'm asking?

and a future 1tb

With out specialized hardware like this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816111006) you can not have two or more disks connected to the PS3's SATA HBA.
