Retailer Gamestation has this morning begun advertising an incredible discount on Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The chain will slash the price of the popular RPG to just £22.49 on Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version will be cut to £19.99.
It’s unusual for such an aggressive discount to be applied to a game that is still selling incredibly well and was released so recently. Skyrim was released nearly a month ago on November 11^th and still resides in the Top Five of the UK charts.

The Wii fitness game from 505 has already received a splash of marketing activity. An X Factor TV ad in late October announced the sequel’s release, while TV spots have been running since around Xtra Factor on ITV2.

Publisher Kalypso Media has signed the rights to publish Telltale’s downloadable Jurassic Park game in boxed form early next year.
Jurassic Park: The Game will arrive in retailers in the UK, Europe, Australia, South Africa and Asia in Q1 2012 on Xbox 360 and PC. There is currently no word on a boxed release for PS3.
“We are thrilled to partner with Telltale Games to bring Jurassic Park: The Game to retail in many territories,” said Kalypso Media Group’s global MD Simon Hellwig.
