XBLA game Alan Wake's American Nightmare has been officially revealed.
The game is not Alan Wake 2, says developer Remedy. Although, it does follow-on directly from the end of the last game. So it pretty much is Alan Wake 2.
It is an Xbox Live Arcade title, so misses retail this time around. The original Alan Wake performed ok at retail, but wasn't a spectacular success.
The new title is due to arrive in Q1 2012.

Codemasters is releasing a new boxed destruction-based entry in its popular Dirt driving franchise in May 2012, titled Dirt Showdown.
The spin-off game mixes the arcade-style extreme sports elements of Dirt 2, the ‘Gymkhana’ stunt events from Dirt 3 and adds in some Destruction Derby-style action, according to GameSpot.
It features eight-player multiplayer, wackier cars, a range of locations from London to San Francisco and in-game ‘Destruction’ arenas.

A new High Definition Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game will be available to download next summer.
Skateboarding star Tony Hawk made the announcement at the Spike Video Game Awards this weekend, after hinting about a new game last week.

The Halo Waypoint app, previously only available for Windows Phone 7, has been released for iOS and Android.
The app includes Atlas, the official multiplayer companion for Halo: Reach that shows multiplayer and Firefight map layouts and their weapon and vehicle locations, with Waypoint tracking match stats in near-realtime.
Waypoint follows Microsoft's release last week of an official Xbox Live app for iOS. It also means Halo beats Call Of Duty to mobiles, after Activision delayed the iOS and Android releases
