Source: Terminator Genisys: Future War via Facebook
Two years after the release of Alan Taylor's Terminator Genisys, it looks like Arnold has made good on his "I'll be back" promise and returned in the new free to play mobile title, Terminator Genisys: Future War.

The game, which released May 17, gives players the option to fight with the T-5000s or human resistance. After choosing which side to align yourself with, the action immediately kicks off as a tutorial walks you through the basics of building and maintaining your own base. A cursor will point you in the direction of what you want to choose while an NPC explains why the choices were made. Gradually the tasks become more complex, but it's always clear why specific tasks were done. After about five minutes, the tutorial ends and Future War finally gets a chance to shine.

Right away, the player is in full control of their base. Military units can be created, ammunition can be manufactured, and factories can be upgraded – but the choice is up to you and it seems there are no wrong answers on how to play. For example, sometimes scavenging materials is more effective than creating them. If your army outnumbers an opponent, you're able to collect a fair amount of material without losing much. On the flipside, if you choose to build up resources with the one day of VIP access you get after starting the game (this allows you to speed up processes in the game that would normally take much longer or gave a steep discount on desired goods), you could build up your level and warehouses more quickly. This might mean you have far fewer units, but in the first day of play, there isn't much of a chance to get attacked anyway.

Either way, it's all up to the player's discretion, which is a nice change of pace from the handholding that many MMO strategy games (especially those on mobile) tend to bog themselves down with - one video game trait that a gamedonia article says developers should do away with. This also makes the player feel like they play a bigger role in the game at large right out of the gate. By giving full reign of the game, immersion comes that much more naturally in a style of game that prides itself on progression by way of learning.

Source: Terminator Genisys: Future War via Facebook

And thankfully the immersion doesn't stop there. Future War's art style evokes the same dark, dystopian feel that the movies strive to accomplish time and time again. Taking a brief look at the game's website shows exactly what the game has to offer, with the iconic Skynet robot staring down Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800. Scorched deserts, shells of bombed out buildings and neon lighting combine to create the gritty world that really makes Terminator unique.

When the player builds up enough units and resources, they can then venture out into the online world to gain points toward the online leaderboard. This is the basic goal of the game. The player with the highest dominance is the best player in the world. But when you're the best player in the world, more people have a reason to want to take you down. This is nowhere near a foreign concept among mobile games, but developer Plarium handles the familiar leaderboard system well, dividing the top players from the top clans as well as the player's personal ranking. It's nothing special, but it gets the job done.

Overall, Future War is quite fun and has enough gameplay diversity and daily quests to keep things fresh for a few hours each day. Not only that, but the game runs smoothly on bootup and controls intuitively, a trait than any mobile game worth a darn is sure to have according to Forbes' formula for making a successful mobile title. Properly managing your base for an optimal return of dominance will be what separates serious players from the casual lot, but both types of players will be equally satisfied with what the game offers them. So if you like the Terminator franchise or are interested in mobile MMOs, this game is worth a try as it's free to play.

Terminator Genisys: Future War is exactly what a mobile game should be. It's immersive, it keeps you tasked, it's free and it gives you the option to pay money for a boost in play. If you happen to give this one a chance, you might just find a new obsession. ...

Source: EA SPORTS FIFA via Facebook
FIFA 17 was a groundbreaking edition in EA Sports’ long list of football video games for a number of reasons. The developers decided to include women’s international teams on the game for the second year in a row – showing signs of progress in both the stature of the female sport but also in the gaming industry.

Secondly, The Journey was well received on the whole. FIFA opted to incorporate a new feature similar to that on EA Sports’ NBA 2K games. The Journey allowed you to control Alex Hunter, a young star working his way through the ranks at your favourite club - but it isn’t as easy as that. With a number of loan moves, training sessions and limited appearances to impress the coaches, you have to strategise and take advantage of opportunities just as you do in real life.

So where do EA Sports go from here? FIFA 17 is widely regarded as one of the best football games in the industry. Pro Evolution Soccer has struggled to rival FIFA in recent years but the FIFA series needs something new in order to remain at the forefront. Here are a few ways for them to stay ahead of the field...
    Continue to improve graphics
Every year, FIFA’s graphics get better and better but there is still room for improvement and EA Sports will strive to offer gamers a near-perfect gaming experience if possible. Some of the players look nothing like what they do in real life and incorporating regular updates on appearance rather than just statistics could be the way forward.

In terms of the crowd and how they interact with the game, a few additional gestures and movements would go down well with those fans who enjoy well-rounded gameplay. Gameplay itself was much better in FIFA 17 but a smoother experience is always appreciated whenever possible, especially online.
Introduce more stadiums from Europe’s top leagues
The introduction of all 20 Premier League grounds was a pleasant surprise but there are still some high-profile arenas from around Europe that do not feature. If possible, bringing in all grounds from Spain, Germany and Italy will appeal to those who enjoy playing with clubs outside of England and after all, that’s where most of the best sides are based - not to mention dedicated gamers.

As of April 10th, Leicester City, 33/1 to win the Champions League in Paddy Power online betting odds, are the only English side remaining in Europe’s elite club competition. EA should begin to focus on enhancing European football’s top divisions...

Take more time on player ratings
At the end of the day, player ratings are vital to FIFA – especially when playing online and against friends. There’s nothing we like more than beating our nearest and dearest and EA Sports must update player ratings on a weekly basis or whenever there has been a match involving that team.

Anomalies are always going to occur but far too many unrealistic details were added in FIFA 17 and football gaming fans would much rather EA focus on improving that particular aspect of the game than something not quite as important. After all, giving an average player a five-star skill level probably isn’t fair – let’s hope for greater accuracy in FIFA 18. ...

with a big pinky nos. They are the heroes of this story as your guidance should help them save the books of the world from the greedy hands of the villain, Capital B.

Agility and stealth are still crucial to survive, but this version of Metal Gear Solid allows the player to choose between multiple solutions in order to activate your strategic center. Any classic video game player can enjoy the perks of The Phantom Pain.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
After The Stick of Truth, this second part of the franchise has definitely proven itself as the best video game version of South Park. Playing through it makes you feel like watching the latest episode, only you are in charge of their actions and battle outcomes. ...

Apple are after the success of the Apple iPod, The Apple iPhone, the Apple iPad, the Apple Watch and the Apple Mac the wealthiest company in the world with a turnover that most countries cant match, but sadly we all pay a massive premium for the products.

The Apple iPod these days isn't the seller it was but in the old days it was the best music playing device you could get anywhere in the world, the days of the Apple iPod Classic, the Apple Ipod Touch and the Apple iPod Shuffle may not be as successful as they was a good 6 years or so ago but the part in history they hold is so important too all of us who like to hear music on the move.

The Apple iPhone is now on its number 7 release and its easily the best selling phone of all time and continues to astound everyone with new innovations on each different release and despite the very high price the name apple seems to keep it at the very top of the mobile gaming scene despite all the android and windows phones that have been released by the likes of Microsoft and Samsung, Sony and that's just to name but a few.

The Apple iPad much like the Apple Iphone is the king of the tablets, the build quality and high definition streaming make the apple iPad the king of tablets and that's despite a massive amount of tablets released under the android and windows operating systems. The closest tablet to the ipad are the Samsung galaxy tablets.
The ipad gives you the best experience of tablet usage you can get but again at a cost which is double or treble the cost of any other tablets on the market.

For me the Apple Watch is more of a gimmick than anything else much like the fitbit watches or the Samsung galaxy gear watches, all these watches remind me of the calculator watches of yesteryear, like all watches they are limited by the size and the usage just isn't easy, you cant easily browse the internet or phone people or do half as much as you can with a phone, call me pessimistic but sorry I don't agree with them :P

The Apple Mac is a very premium Laptop with the Apple OS installed, for people with money its probably the best laptop to buy, yes its got build quality on its side but surely its not worth an extra thousand pounds over a an Android or Windows Based Laptop, for me I will never pay that much for a laptop no matter how good they think it is.

Apple do make quality devices but pricing is at a premium, most of us want to play at a fairer rate.

Getting back to Apple, will they reduce their prices, we all know that their profit margins make them one of the worlds biggest and most powerful companies, maybe the only way to make them lower prices is to stop buying, but will the world do it ?, it doesn't seem so does it ? ...

Ive been sat at home this Xmas, getting drunk as you do, eating way too much and watching a load of crap films on TV, but whilst going through Facebook one day I noticed what must have been a sponsored link to a site called Pixelarcades, having never seen it before and im trying to get back into the good old days of newsposting I had a good looksy.

Now I am really glad I did, the guys at Pixelarcades are from what I can see replacing the guts of the games consoles with I presume a raspberry pi board and some type of flash drive or hard drive and bundling it with roms and emulators.

Theres probably more to it than I know but if you want a PSX, Snes, N64, Dreamcast etc maxed out with games this is an awesome way to go about it, if you live in the UK you can even get your console converted and at the moment they are even buying consoles to be retro fitted.

They also sell pinball tables and arcade systems if you have the cash to buy them, some look like one off versions too. Cant fault them at all for the balls to do this, check them out here -> http://pixelarcades.co.uk/ and give me your comments. ...
