E3 2013 to take place between June 11th and 13th

E3 will remain in Los Angeles for at least the next three years, The ESA has confirmed.
After rumours had circulated that one of the biggest events in the games industry calendar would change location, the ESA has signed a new deal to keep it at the Los Angeles Convention Centre for the foreseeable future.

“We are proud to partner with Los Angeles for another three years. The City serves as a strong backdrop for the video game industry’s biggest announcements and we look forward to remaining in LA,” said ESA CEO Michael Gallagher.
“Video games are a dominant force in the global entertainment marketplace and there is no better place to display that than Los Angeles. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the City and AEG.”

The plan development of the new Farmer’s Field is still set to go ahead, although the ESA has worked with the centre’s owners to create a schedule to accommodate its use for future events.
The show however will also take at LA LIVE and other small venues throughout the city.
