Overview : Keep your PlayStation Move Controllers fully charged, and ready to use, while keeping everything organized in a small, elegant charging station. Since Sony PlayStation Move controllers (The Navigation Controller and the Motion Controller) have internal rechargeable batteries, operating this charging base is simple. Just stand the Move controllers vertically on the base. You can recharge your controllers, without having to plug cables into them, or your PlayStation 3 Console. This Charging Station is powered by an AC adapter, which means nothing will have to occupy a USB ports on your console in order to recharge all your gear.

    Features :

    • Brand New Quadruple Port Charging Station for PlayStation 3 Move Controllers
    • Compatible with PlayStation Move controllers
    • Charges both the Move navigation controller and Move motion controller on one easy to use base
    • Quickly charges the internal rechargeable batteries
    • Know when they are fully charged with the included LED Indicator light
    • Stylishly keeps your controllers Organized and out of the way while not in use
    • Powered by an included AC 100~240V adapter (US plug)

    Specifications :

    • Color: Black
    • Dimensions (L*W*T): 11.6 x 11.6 x 3.0 cm
    • Weight: 144.0g

    Package Included :

    • 1 x Quadruple Port Charging Station for PlayStation 3 Move Controllers
    • 1 x AC Charger

Quality/Usability : To refresh and update the PlayStation 3 (and to compete), Sony released a controller similar to Nintendo's Wiimote and Nunchuk for the Wii known as the PlayStation Move and Navigation controllers. Like all wireless controllers, they operate on battery whether it be disposable or rechargeable. The most economical would be rechargeable. Wit the Move and Navigation controller, the batteries are not removable. They are built in to the controller. You can charge the controller via USB cable but that is a lot of USB cables (1 for each controller, up to 4). A better solution would be to use a charging station.

The Quad Charging Port Station for the PS Move and Navigation controller does just that. It charges up to four controllers at one time. Each controller sites into their little charging port. The two front ports are for Navigation controllers and the two rear ports are for the Move controllers. You can charge each controller separately, charge them in pairs or charge all four of them at one time.

The charging station is made of plastic. Compared to some other charging stations on the market, the station is sturdy but the plastic felt cheap. This isn't a bad thing as I expected it from PEGA but all that matters is that the product works and does what it's suppose to do...which it does. I was able to fully charge my controllers within 2 hours. When placed onto the station, there are LEDs for each port. This lets you know when the controller are charging. It would have been nice if the charging station discharged any remaining battery in the controller and performed a full charge.

The Quad Charging Port Station comes with a AC power adapter (US). If you live in a different country, you will need a converter/adapter to fit your countries wall outlet. I like the fact that it does not require a USB port to get its power in order to charge the controllers.

Conclusion : Overall, the Quad Charging Port Station PS Move Navigation does what it is suppose to do in charging the Move and Navigation controllers. The station plugs into a wall outlet but the station does not deplete any remaining battery before fully charging the controllers. I personally like to recondition my rechargeable batteries as this pro-longs the battery life whether it be camera, cellphone or any electronics. So in order to do so, I have to play until the battery are completely dead. It would of been a nice feature as I can stop playing when I want, station depletes any remaining battery and will begin to charge when its completely dead. Unfortunately, if you use any silicone skins for your Move controllers, you will have to take them off the controller or at least the bottom since it will not fit in the port.

A little over a week or so, Mathieulh, tweeted that he found an exploit for 3.56 but would never release it due to Sony sending the MIB (lawyers) to stop hackers from circumventing the PS3's security. Now, he and others have been posting "proof" of the 3.60 exploit on YouTube, IRC, Twitter, etc. He has since made the YouTube video private. Others have posted videos as well but they are being removed quickly and re-posted using different accounts.
Just over a week ago PlayStation 3 hacker Mathieulh confirmed finding a PS3 3.56 Exploit, and today drizzthacks tweeted part of an IRC chat log where Mathieulh stated the following regarding PS3 Firmware 3.60 running homebrew code, as follows:

"[03:15] while you are insulting me like morons, I already have code running on 3.60, and I am laughing, and guess what ? I am happy I stopped sharing, you can hate me for it, I don't care."

On IRC, Mathieulh also posted a video of his own but then privatized it currently rendering it unavailable:

Mathieulh: actually you want video proof, let's share one for the lol
    Mathieulh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nknwBz-2v8c

Shortly following, another PS3 3.60 JailBreak video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZfES89eZwM) was posted followed by the user removing it and reposting it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qohuq0Vvm6M) with another account.

From IRC on the alleged PS3 3.60 JailBreak video:

    mastag23: just fyi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZfES...layer_embedded
    mastag23: that is fake
mastag23: it would look legit if he hadn't of ran the debugging station launcher
mastag23: You fail "Connected from 192.168.0.2 on port 1000" (port might be wrong pretty blurry.
mastag23: This is a debug unit. That can't be done on a retail unit. Run the Debugging Station Launcher on a retail and the debug tools won't connect to it, yours obviously does
mastag23: debugging station launcher cant be connected to on retail
mastag23: if he hadnt of posted debugging station launcher
    mastag23: he would be believable

The video shows a package installing and the new online save function, which was added in PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.60.

Time will tell, but my feeling from the videos and the tweeting... this may be the real deal.

So what do you think? Real or fake?

Japan is home to some of the biggest gaming companies in the world. With reports that last week's earthquake killed thousands of people and devastation in the country, the gaming community and companies has started to respond by sending relief and donations.

Nintendo, which is headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, has announced it will donate 300 million yen ($3.6 million) to the relief effort.

Sony Corporation also has announced that it will be giving 300 million yen in earthquake relief along with 30,000 radios to help those working with the relief effort.

Sega Sammy is giving 200 million yen while Tecmo Koei will be donating 10 million yen to Japan Red Cross. Namco Bandai is donating 100 million yen through parent Bandai Namco Group. The company will also be suspending operations in arcades where power conservation is needed, and will be holding back on events.

But it isn't just Japanese game-related companies that are donating to the effort. Microsoft has announced that it's giving an initial $2 million to help with relief efforts. Meanwhile, social gaming community Gaia Online has designed a series of virtual goods and will send the proceeds from those goods to the Red Cross.

    ------------------------

When Haiti was hit with their devastating earthquake last year, we (DCEmu Reviews) took donations which we we sent the American Red Cross. However, PayPal suspended my account even though we were doing a good cause. I had to refund the payments (even though we already submitted our donations to the ARC) in order for my account to be reinstated (it was also my personal account). So rather than go through this whole ordeal again, if you would like to help and donate whether it be $1, $5 or even $100, you can send donations to the American Red Cross. If you are unable to send payment, watch the news, read the newspapers or find out from your locals to see how you can help.

    Translation of image:

"Dear customers who resell Nintendo 3DS "
    "non purchase able 3DS system"
In case if you use equipment which is illegal or unapproved by Nintendo or if you do customization which is unapproved by Nintendo, there is a possibility that Nintendo 3DS become non bootable by system update.

    - From Nintendo 3DS terms of agreement

Because of terms of agreement above, Enterking refuses to buy 3DS system with record of illegal or unapproved equipment.

"Request to format before you sell"

To protect from leaking your personal and internet connection information, We ask customer to format system. In case purchasing could not be established after you format 3DS system, Enterking is not responsible for lost datas and settings. Please understand before you format.

Japanese game retailer Enterking issued a notice that it would not be buying back any 3DS units that were used with a R4-type devices - specifically "illegal or unauthorized devices". The notice states that there seems to be a record of such use left on the system. This would be in line with the rumors that the 3DS keeps a log of flash cart use, which then can be checked.

The Nintendo terms of agreement clearly state that it is possible that the 3DS might not be able to boot up after firmware updates if unapproved or illegal devices are used in the 3DS. You've been warned! But will this still stop you?

When Sony releases a new firmware, its one of 2 things...apply new security patches or new features are added. With Sony's new 3.60 firmware, it's both. One of the new features is the option for Playstation Plus members to store their save game files on Sony's cloud based online storage system. Of course, if you wish to retain your jailbroken console or you plan on or currently have installed a CFW, DO NOT install the new OFW. It will overwrite your firmware and block the use of homebrew.

Hey everyone – We’ve got an exciting new feature coming exclusively to PlayStation Plus subscribers. Included in the system software update (v3.60) coming tomorrow to PS3, PlayStation Network’s new online storage for game saves feature gives PlayStation Plus subscribers the capability to back up game save data to the cloud. Online storage for game saves is a great way for PlayStation Plus subscribers to ensure that their data files are secure and also for users who wish to access their files from other PS3 systems.

The new online storage feature allows gamers to store up to 150MB of game save data and a maximum of 1000 data files per PSN account. Users also have the ability to back-up “copy-prohibited save data,” and all previously saved data may be restored once per 24 hour period. When the new feature launches, most PS3 titles will be compatible with online storage for game saves, and moving forward, all new titles will have the capability to offer the storage option.

As I mentioned before, online storage for game saves functionality is included automatically for PlayStation Plus subscribers with system software update (v3.60), which will be available on March 10, 2011, and users can access their stored data on the XMB at any time. Additionally, users who save their files to the cloud can access their data on any PS3, using their PSN sign-in ID.

PlayStation Plus subscribers should turn on the auto-download feature to ensure that the update will begin downloading as soon as it’s available, so you can start backing up your game saves right away. If you aren’t already a PlayStation Plus subscriber, be sure to check out our bi-weekly post highlighting the free games, discounts and exciting exclusives we offer, in addition to the upcoming online storage for game saves feature.

Other minor features will also be added via system software update (v3.60). For more information please visit http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/ps3/ once the update is live.
KaKaRoToKS has confirmed via Twitter: "Wow, in 3.60, Sony removed all the loaders, no more isoldr/lv1ldr/lv2ldr/appldr.. but they added lv0.2! Seems they found a way to secure ps3"

Having read many comments about gamers wanting to remap buttons from our YouTube page of Cross Battle Adapter and Cross Fire Converter videos, that XCM has answered. They will be releasing the XCM Re-Mapper. Unfortunately, this is ONLY for Xbox 360 console owners. This allows you to remap buttons that fits your needs. No more using default buttons. This will not work with the Play & Charge Kit. You will need a wired controller.

To some, the Xbox 360™ controller is most arguably the best controller, but the button location may not be the perfect place for some games. In order to fix this, you may need to re-map some buttons that will suit your preference and gaming style. What if you're left handed and like to use the left LT as your shooting trigger and RT trigger for throwing grenades or even switching weapons? The XCM Re-Mapper allows you to re-map ANY button on a wired Xbox 360™ controller (except SELECT, START and Guide button) making gameplay that much easier, enjoyable and playable now.

*You MUST use a wired Xbox 360™ controller. XCM Re-Mapper will NOT work with wireless Xbox 360 controller Play & Charge Kit.

No release date or pricing has been announced but we'll have a video of it and uploaded to YouTube when we get them. ...
