• March 2013 - DCEmu Turns 9 Years Old and Still Going Strong

Its Now March 2013 and DCEmu the Homebrew & Gaming Network is now 9 Years old. I actually started the sites back in 2002 but joined them under the DCEmu name back in 2004 when the site was foremost a Dreamcast Site, since then we have expanded and cover all homebrew scenes as new consoles come into play. To make sure the site gets back to what it does best i have merged the discussion forums and unmerged all the news forums, which for everyone makes for a better reading experiance, no one wants to search for PS2 news on a PS3 merged news forum because it takes ages to find it. Also this month we have launched new sites for PS4, GCW Zero and also an Open Source Handhelds website. Thanks for visiting DCEmu and please join in the discussion and remember if you are a coder then you can upload to our forum instead of using crappy internet upload sites.
  • E3 2012: Ubisoft excited by 'very strong' E3

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says E3 remains as important as ever, despite fresh criticism over its relevancy from some corners of the industry.
Event organisers the ESA was forced to defend E3 last monthfollowing criticism of its continued focus on the struggling traditional boxed games market. The trade body pointed to the appearance of Zynga and GREE as proof that the show is as relevant as it has ever been.
And now Guillemot has backed the annual showcase, telling MCV that the expo is important in judging critical, consumer and trade reaction. And that Ubisoft is planning to reveal some major new titles at its press conference tomorrow.
"E3 is really a time where we get reactions from lots of people. And unveil some things to generate hype," he said.
"It is big event for us because a lot of people are logging in to find out what¹s going on in the industry and find out what's new.
"It is going to be a very strong E3. Which will be nice. We are doing products on many platforms, including mobile, tablet and also free-to-play games for PC, as well as what we expect to come this year, which is Wii U. It should be good if the reactions are as we expect."
