Speed shouldn't be a problem, unless  glVertex3fv( ) along with its peers, have atrocious latency.

...well they do on the PC, but there's a whole range of alternative.<br />
<br />
On the DC side, kos doesn't have lighting by default, nor mipmap, and there's missing blending state.<br />
<br />
Texture component is also limited to 16bpp (by default).</div>
