    tophead420's version of PS3 theme

This is a work in progress. I am trying to compile a PS3 theme that is as close to the Ps3 XMB as possible. Right now its missing a few things but I'll fix it soon, like I said its a work in progress.

    Right now this theme contains:
*Top menu icons (silver) (made by innercy recolored by CrazyEyes)
*Ps3 menu wave (not exactly the ps3 wave but very close) (Made by I have no clue I will find out a credit whom ever it is)
    * Background (Black 01-12.bmp, Its not all 12 but I'm working on it. I have been having trouble with the BG split/merger will fix soon) (made by me :P)
    *Ps3 font (made by innercy)
*PS3 gameboot (made by psp phd)
Please credit those for their hard work in making this possible

********I take no responsibility if you brick use at own risk********

    Install:
To install this take all of the rco's and the 01-12.bmp and flash them to flash0:/vsh/resource

In oder to get this gameboot to work you must redirect your Gameboot to your Memory Stick to do this use Flash Agent.

I plan to add on to this later. My plans for this are:

    Adding battery and volume icons
Adding photo, music, game, and video icons if possible
    maybe a custom coldboot
And any other icons I left out

This is just a few things I can think of off the top of my had

This didn't take much time to do but it took a while to release because I was searching for all the stuff I needed. But couldn't find it all If you can help me in anyway please contact me on msn or my forums. Also I am currently reading up on how to make 32 bit icons. I just need a good program in which to make them.

I got to wondering about the new customfirmware and thought to myself am I ready to upgrade yet? The answer is no. Why you might ask? Cause I dont have the 3.3 update. So how many of you are already getting prepared for 3.3 OE? I myself am downloading the 3.3 update right now and getting my 1.5 update ready so I can be ready to upgrade once I find out that 3.3 OE is released (that and if it supports custom icons) I recommend getting prepared early so you can be ready to upgrade ASAP. So how many of us are you ready to upgrade to 3.3 OE? Once this update is complete I'm ready. How about you? ...

Well I got bored last night and decided to spice up my XMB.Cuase with the top menu and font I had it was totally boring. So I searched for fonts, icons and the right background. Well heres what I've created with what I found. I liked what I made so I've decided to share it with everyone. Heres a pic of it

Heres how your going to want to install it:
Personally I use psp filer instead of the USB flash0 because I don't trust using USB flash0. But anyways flash these however your used to flashing them doesn't matter how you flash them.Just be cautious when doing this I don't want anyone to brick. Make sure you have atleast 410kb (or enough to flash these) of free space on your flash0 memory as this is the files total size when flashed.

Ok first take the 01-12 bmp and flash it to flash0: vsh/resource

Then take the ltn0.pgf and place it in flash0: font

For the topmenu_plugin.rco take the included icons and make them into a topmenu plugin with the XMB packager and flash it to flash0: vsh/resource

If anyone needs help to install this let me know and I'll help you. I hope you enjoy my new XMB. You can download it from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/r1exj7

I would like to thank deliriumhappy of QJ.net forums for the background and Chnk for the icon pack I got my icons from. I made the font so I will thank myself
    EDIT:
OK I decided to upload it to the forums to make it easier for you guys to download it. I will keep the sendspace link up in case people have problem downloading from the forums.
    SMALLER FONT:
Since a few people have ask for the font to be smaller here it is if you want it

Green, Red and Purple backgrounds (flashable):

Hi everyone with the release of the prx pack a few days ago I decided to put my own pack together with a few extra prxs including my favorite prx the vshex prx heres more details on the pack:

This is just a collection of prxs put together to help people out this pack contains prxs that will work on 2.71 SE-C but they all may not work but most will this pack contains the following prxs

    lcscheatdevice.prx cheat in gta
vcscheatdevice.prx same as lcs but this ones for vcs
vshhex.prx (my favorite prx) display battery, change cpu speed to 133,222,266,333 and 29mhz (29 is great for listening to music and saves battery life but make XMB laggy)
    oc.prx- overclock the psp
capture.prx take pics of the XMB
irsmp3.prx listen to mp3s with out having to got to music menu
brightnessmod.prx use the forth brightness u would normally need ac adapter plugged in

in oder to get these to work just simply add the path:
    ms0:\seplugins\(PRXNAME).prx

I have already given you the path in both text files you simply must add the prx you want to use so you shold see this in the text file ms0:\seplugins\

    Prx controls
at the moment some of the prxs I cant remember the controls to but i do know a few

    MP3.PRX controls
(when READY is displayed in the bottom left hand corner, press Note+ Left Trigger to start playback)
(The Note button is to the left of select)
    Note + Left Trigger = pause/resume playback
Note + Right Trigger = switch playback mode between random and seqeuntial
Note + D-Pad Left = previous song (only in sequential mode)
    Note + D-Pad Right = next song
Note + D-Pad Up = Volume up (for the mp3)
Note + D-Pad Down = Volume Down (for the mp3)
Note + Triangle = Change CPU speed

Note + Square = Toggle On Screen Display (default off)
Note + Circle = Reload list of mp3 files (needed if you change the files in the music folder using usb)
Note + Cross = Change brightness level

    VSHEX.PRX controls

Press HOME + SELECT in the XMB to change the CPU and GPU speeds, steps are 133/66, 222/111, 266/133, and 333/166

Press HOME + CIRCLE in the XMB to change the CPU speed to 30MHz and the GPU to 50MHz. This makes the XMB become a little laggy but is fine for playing AT3 music or AVC video as this is hardware decoded

Press HOME + L TRIGGER to execute ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/DEVBOOT.PBP - this is yet ANOTHER way of booting DevHook instantly into 2.71 firmware, but now you can do it after startup DO NOT USE ON SE-C WILL NOT WORK

Press HOME + R TRIGGER to get battery percentage, voltage and temperature information.

    Screen\Video Capture Module
Music Button(hold, green wave passes screen) = Take ScreenShot / Stop Recording Video
Right Shoulder Button + Music Button = Start Recording Video
Right Shoulder Button + Left Shoulder Button + Music Button = Start Recording "Advanced Video Mode"

    SVC Player
    D-Pad Left = Previous Video
    D-Pad Right = Next Video
    X = Play GIF Video
Left Shoulder Button = Previous Skin
Right Shoulder Button = Next Skin
Triangle (when playing) = Toggle Full Screen Mode (on/off)
HOLD Square (when playing) = Pause Video"

Enjoy the pack and if anyone minds giving me the control list for prxs I didn't mention or minds putting them on a post i would greatly appreciate it

And I take no credit what so ever for these prxs for which they were not made by me any credit given should be towards the creators tho I do take credit for putting the pack together tho Im not really worried about getting credit for it I done this to help the psp community (mainly the great DCemu community)

    Enjoy =P

I was doing my normal rounds checking for new news on the PSP when I stumble across this PRX pack. This pack will make it alot easier on those of you who dont know how to get them to work, all of the prx's were tested and working by whom ever compiled this pack (tho some didn't work for me mainly the cheat devices and irsmp3 in game). This pack contains the following prxs:

lcscheatdevice.prx - Liberty City Stories Cheatdevice
    vcscheatdevice.prx Vice City Stories Cheatdevice
    irsmp3v.prx - Listen to mp3's in XMB
    irsmp3.prx - Listen to mp3's in games
capture.prx - Take photos and videos of your XMB
Brightnessmod.prx - Use the 4th brightness level without the AC adapter

Note that some of these may not work for you. A few haven't worked for me but this will make things alot easier on those who don't know how to use prxs on 2.71 SE-C

Edit: Sorry for all of you who read this and wanted the prx pack i totally forgot to attach the prx pack to my post sorry for the inconvenience (seems im having trouble uploading to Dcemu so i upped it to sendspace)

Looks like al of you who wanted 3.00 should have stayed on 2.71 SE firmware because now we 2.71 SE users are gonna get the benefits of 3.00 heres the link to the video:

I was looking around on a few websites on how to upgrade my psp from 2.71 SE-B" to 2.71 SE-C. I had got everything I needed except the SE-C update so i went to DAXs website when I seen this article:

As you can see this fake Dark_AleX has totally made the real Dark_AleX's life hard. Bring him many many legal problems. Does this mean no more awesome custom firmwares, decrypters, and so on from the amazing Dark_AleX, I hope not because Dark_AleX has brought alot to the community and opened a new era in psp development. I personally hope that he stays and continues work on his great projects but I also support his decision to stay or leave. This is just a few backgrounds that I made usin the AIO mod for custom firmware I used it to take pics of my gameboots and some pics I found on the net. Well anyways the end result was pretty good I got some awesome looking pics out of it then all I had to do is change them to the proper format to be flashed. You need to use X-flash to install these (its all in the read me. I might release more of my backgrounds but Im not sure if I will, just depends on how well this pack goes over. Hope you guys like um
