After two weeks at No.1, Warner Bros’ Batman: Arkham Knight is pushed to second place by Codemasters’ F1 2015.
Week one sales of F1 2015 are 367 per cent higher than last year’s entry in the racing series as the series debuts on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Sales of Arkham Knight, meanwhile, are down 54 per cent week-on-week, but it charts ahead of fellow Warner Bros title LEGO Jurassic World.
Towards the bottom of the Top Ten, both console editions of Minecraft saw sales increases this week. The Xbox Edition rose six per cent, while the PlayStation SKUS saw a 12 per cent rise. This is likely due to the excitement following last week’s Minecon at London Excel.
And as the summer period gets into full swing, a few games are helped by retail promotions. Disney Infinity 2.0 sales increase 59 per cent this week thanks to price activity, and the toys-to-life title rises from No.26 to No.13.
Below is the software Top Ten for the week ending July 11th:
    1. F1 2015 (Codemasters/Bandai Namco)
    2. Batman: Arkham Knight (Warner Bros)
    3. LEGO Jurassic World (Warner Bros)
    4. The Elder Scrolls Online (Bethesda)
    5. Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar)
    6. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (CD Projekt RED/Bandai Namco)
    7. Minecraft: Xbox Edition (Microsoft)
    8. Minecraft: PlayStation Edition (Sony)
    9. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Activision Blizzard)
    10. Destiny (Activision Blizzard)

YouTube has announced the top 10 “trending” games on its network for June, with Batman: Arkham Knight claiming first place.

The latest Fire Emblem title for 3DS has remained at the number spot in Japan, with returning Top Ten entry Splatoon seeing resilient sales figures.
Fire Emblem Fates’ two SKUs – White Kingdom and Black Kingdom – easily spot to the top of the retail charts the week previous, shifting over 350,000 units, according to the latest data from Famitsu.
This number fell to just above 71,000 last week, which was still far more than enough to see it through to a second chart-topping performance.
Helped by the 3DS title’s success, the New Nintendo 3DS XL remained at the top of the hardware rankings, selling over 23,000 units.
Meanwhile, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, which propelled Vita sales in its debut week, slipped two spaces to fourth as sales dropped by almost 90 per cent to just shy of 11 per cent.
This opened the hardware charts back up, allowing the bigger sibling of Sony’s Vita to creep back up to second place and Nintendo’s Wii U to ride its slipstream to third.
Back in the software charts, returning Top Ten presence Splatoon held on well for a second week back in the Top Five, rising to third in lieu of Dancing All Night. Sales of the squid-based shooter were resilient, dropping by a mere 7,000 units.
Meanwhile, the greatest hits title for the Rhythm Heaven franchise, The Best+, jumped up to second place, despite sales dropping by around 20,000 units.

The Caped Crusader is once again perched on top of the GfK Chart-Track Top 40.
Batman: Arkham Knight manages this in spite of a 74 per cent decrease in sales week-on-week.
And it continues to be a good few weeks for Warner Bros – not only does it have the No.1 spot with Batman, No.2 is LEGO Jurassic World for the second week running.
The Xbox 360 SKU continues to be the best-selling version, showing that the child and family audience are yet to upgrade to the newer PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Meanwhile, both console versions of Minecraft re-enter the Top 10. The Xbox Edition rises from 11th place to seventh, while the PlayStation Edition rises two places up to No.10. This is likely due to excitement building up last weekend's London Minecraft convention, Minecon.

Holy sales, Batman! Arkham Knight has beaten The Witcher 3 to become this year’s biggest launch to date.
Bandai Namco’s RPG previously saw the biggest first week of 2015 when it launched back in May, holding onto the chart top spot for three weeks until it was deposed by The Elder Scrolls Online earlier this month, which became the second-largest launch of this year.
But now both have been bested by the Bat, as Arkham Knight flew to Number One, knocking fellow Warner Bros title LEGO Jurassic World down to second place.
Arkham Knight also set a series record, seeing the best-selling Week One performance for Rocksteady’s Arkham franchise. The record was previously held by Rocksteady’s preceding Batman game, 2011’s Arkham City. (2013’s Batman Arkham Origins was developed by a different studio and isn’t considered to be part of the main series.)
Arkham Knight closes a massively successful first half of 2015 for Warner, with the publisher claiming four chart-topping releases – Dying Light, Mortal Kombat X, LEGO Jurasic World and Arkham Knight.
This triumph makes it the first publisher to achieve at least four Number One placements in the first half of the year since 2012, where EA ruled the rankings with FIFA 12, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, SSX, Mass Effect 3 and FIFA Street.
Elsewhere in the final chart for the first half of 2015, Wii U release Yoshi’s Woolly World landed in fourth in its first week and Final Fantasy XIV expansion Heavensward snuck into the bottom of the Top Ten.
The last new entry this week was Bandai Namco’s J-Stars Victory, which came in at a respectable 18th place.
Here is the full UK retail Top Ten for the week ending June 27th, courtesy of GfK Chart-Track and UKIE:

    1. Batman Arkham Knight (Warner Bros)
    2. LEGO Jurassic World (Warner Bros)

After debuting in second place last week, LEGO Jurassic World claims the top spot.

It is the first LEGO title to claim the No.1 spot since last year’s The LEGO Movie Videogame, and is the seventh Traveller’s Tales LEGO game to take the top spot since LEGO Star Wars in 2005.
Meanwhile last week’s No.1 The Elder Scrolls Online drops to second place with sales dipping 71 per cent. In third place again is The Witcher III: Wild Hunt with sales dipping 19 per cent.
