The Avengers universe is in need of some damage control, and a new trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming VR experience reveals how you can be a part of the solution.
Avengers: Damage Control, a VR story from the minds at Marvel and ILMxLAB, is coming to select The Void VR locations in the U.S. and Canada, and the preview footage unveils aspects of the hero mission.

The concept revolves around Wakanda’s brightest mind Shuri (Letitia Wright) recruiting your team to test out her prototype Emergency Response Suits, a combination of Wakanda and Stark technology. Good thing, too, because an enemy from the past — the trailer reveals that to be Ultron — is out to steal the tech, which means you’ll have to team up with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), the Wasp (Evangeline Lily), and other Avengers to stop the attack.

Although Spider-Man, in Tom Holland, appears in the trailer, only the previously mentioned actors are confirmed.

Marvel has announced a brand new open-world RPG called Future Revolution for mobile devices, and it looks like Captain America, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and Doctor Strange are taking centre stage. The reveal trailer shows the four characters going into battle with an army of creatures while reality folds in on itself. The footage is from the game engine but it may not play like what we see on the screen. Alongside the four heroes are other characters that will be joining the fight. Those characters are Captain America, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange. No, that is not a typo. It appears Future Revolution is embracing the multiverse as different variants of the characters come into battle.

    2. Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch, Grand Theft Auto 5, FIFA 20, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot were the big winners in January acrosss Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia.
This is all according to GSD figures [the data project owned by European trade body ISFE] analysed by GamesIndustry.biz. The data features physical retail numbers from 17 countries, and digital download data from 16 major publishers in nearly 50 markets. The full details of which are at the bottom of the article.
Just over 15 million AAA games were sold across EMEAA territories during January, a slight increase of 1.1% compared with the same period 12 months ago.
Due to the ageing console cycle, sales of games machines are down 15.8% in January compared to the same period a year before, with revenue down 13.1%. The only console to sell better in January 2020 vs 2019 was Nintendo Switch (up more than 17%). Switch accounted for almost 52% of all consoles sold across the retail markets, with the Neon version the most popular individual product.
The increase in game sales was primarily due to an increase in full game downloads, with Grand Theft Auto 5, FIFA 20 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege the biggest selling digital titles. Just under 8.45 million full games were downloaded last month across the markets.
Physical game sales took a slight tumble, down 5.6% year-on-year to 6.6 million games sold. The physical games market performs best when big new games are launched, and there was a lack of significant titles released last month. By comparison, Resident Evil 2 and New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe were released in January 2019.

Two Point Hospital was the second best-selling boxed game in the UK last week.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare enjoyed a 30% increase in sales week-on-week, and keeps Sega's hospital sim from the top spot. Of course, with digital combined, it's possible that Two Point Hospital was the real No.1. We will receive the digital data later in the week.
The game's predecessor, Theme Hospital, reached No.1 back in 1997.
The most successful platform for Two Point Hospital was Nintendo Switch, with 55% of boxed sales coming on Nintendo's hybrid platform. 34% of sales were on PS4, with 12% on Xbox One.
It wasn't the only new release in the charts this week, with Rune Factory 4 Special on Switch coming in at No.17.
Last week's biggest new release was the double pack of Vanquish and Bayonetta, and that has dropped out of the Top 40 entirely. The other new title was Hunt: Showdown, which falls 46% in sales and drops from No,29 to No.40
The big risers in the charts this week all benefited from price activity at retail. Ubisoft's The Division 2 re-enters the Top Ten at No.7 (up from 12th place), Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is at No.8 (rising from No.17 after a 17% jump in sales), and Crash Bandicoot Racing Nitro-Fueled leaps from No.22 to No.10 after a 35% sales improvement week-on-week.
