The Review Itself
The original DS is a great looking console with it
dual screens and a rigid feel to it, but when Nintendo
brought the DS Lite out i knew i wanted one.
The new DS Lite looks like a much more polished unit
than the old one, in the style league i would say it
takes back the crown from the PSP.
One of the many differences for the DS Lite is that
the Microphone has been moved, thats not a biggy but
one to take note of.
Also changed is the power socket, those if you who
had the old GBA lead to charge the DS Lite will not
like the new smaller power socket.
The next change and maybe the one that causes more
problems is the small area for the GBA Cart, GBA Carts
now stick out the bottom of the console, ok if you dont
use the GBA but if you do the sticking out of the slot
will annoy.
The DS Lite has many different lighting controls, a
very welcome addition to the console.
The shape and look of the console are great although
i do have some concerns about how tough it can be and
some sites have reported that cracks have appeared in
their DS Lite case where the hinges are.
Comments
Nintendo deliver again, another great revision of an
extremely popular console. Some concerms about the DS
Lite cases and the GBA cart sticking out the GBA slot
are noted but on the whole it kills any competition
with a great new slimmer design
Overall i would give it a 9.7/10 , great console, well
worth the money.
