Default PSP Rhythm Composer - RCON's Bassline demo

Louie Iturzaeta has released a working demo to share with you of a future bassline synth feature, heres whats posted in the read me:

This is a simple demo of a drum beat and a bassline. The bassline
was created by hacking the wavegen SDK sample (creates a tone that
can be modified with the analog stick) and using a ADSR envelope
    that I found here: http://www.nuim.ie/academic/music/musictec/
    to turn the notes on/off.

use the analog stick to bend the pitch and the x button to change
from a saw wave to a square wave form.

So what does this mean? A synthesiser is possible on the PSP!

If you have trouble getting this to work on a 1.5 copy the
"BASSDEMO 1" folder first to your PSP and then the other.

Very good news. We know that the PSP can also be used as a sampler. If we could get a drum machine/sequencer/sampler we'd be in serious business here.

Also, this makes me wonder if they plan on an MTV music generator on PSP? PSP is the first ever console That is designed to hook up to your PC. You could load all your own samples. The possibilities are almost endless for this type of application.

i think an mtv music generator on psp is inevitable.as you say,it's a nobrained on psp,and look how many music programs there are on ps2.

back to the demo, this is seriously cool news.

i keep wondering if an actual audio recorder would be possible?seeing as how there is a headset imput with microphone in the headphone socket, this must be for voice recognition, wich means some sort of line in,right?

if someone could find a way to record the signal coming in,that would be an audio sampler right there,no need of an addtional usb thingy like on ps2
