I use the video out for movies on mine all the time so I may very well import one if it comes to it.

there was an AV out option for the Phat before there even WAS a slim...

it just involves a somewhat pricey mod

that is unless you got the kind that you strapped on to the PSP on top of the screen


so there you go. 2 AV out options for the Phat before there ever was a slim.

My take?... the whole concept takes the whole PORTABLE out of PSP. I got the component cables for my slim. Used them once. might not use them again.

Still a nice way to take a bunch of movies to someone's house and watch them on their TV.
