NDS Final Fantasy IV DS Screens Draw Tears

    via Kotaku

Still the better part of a month away from release, the fact that Square Enix saw fit to tease us with these images from the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV is painful enough, but the image up at the top there was really mean. Palom and Porom represent the first time a video game ever made me cry, and while I know how the story ends now I still sniffle every time I get to that one particular part. Next month I get to relive it all over again, with voice acting potentially endearing me to the characters even more before the incident. So mean, Squenix. So very mean.

Thats what I love about Square enix, they take a limited system and do unbelievably fantastic things with it. I cant wait for this game to come out

I agree, this game is definitely worth looking forward to. The graphics look pretty good and if the last Final Fantasy game was any indication then this one will definitely be a treat.

However, I doubt that there will be any voice overs. Nintendo has determined a preset amount of data that can be stored in one game cartridge and will not likely allow game developers to go over that amount (despite the fact that flash devices that use SD Micro cards already have proven that several gigabytes of data can be accessed on the Nintendo DS).

I think voice overs have definitely been confirmed for this game, like many other games on the Nintendo DS.

There are plenty of ways around the limited memory size (compression etc.)

With all of these remakes being released, can we expect an FF7 remake for PS4? I sure hope so...

Actually an FF6 remake would make me $#@! my pants moreso

    ....or even a Mystic Quest
