PSP Minis ‘will probably come to UMD’

SCEE’s Zeno Colaco suggests Minis could be released on other platforms, including PS3
New incentives may lie ahead for developers working on PSP Minis. The sub-100MB-sized games may soon end up on store shelves as packaged UMD games, according to Sony.
“The most successful Minis titles will probably transition to UMD,” said Sony Europe’s Zeno Colaco, in an interview with Develop published later today.
Minis are essentially Sony’s answer to the significant popularity of App Store games.

So sony is apparently undecided as to whether they are going to kill umd or not

sounds like a rock solid plan for the future (durh we dont know)

Sony did something similar with that black Ps1 dev kit where people made games then they were given free on the OPS magazine, and the best were ramade into retail games.
