    Rev Aussie Wii accessories priced

Australians have known for a few months that a Wii console will set them back AU$399.95 ($309.72) when it comes out in the country on December 7, but other pricing details have so far been sketchy. Now, Nintendo has revealed exactly how much Aussie gamers will have to pay for a complete Wii fix.

Nintendo today confirmed Australian pricing for Wii accessories, Virtual Console games, and Wii points. While the AU$399.95 Wii console will come with one Remote and one Nunchuk controller, extra Remotes will set gamers back AU$69.95 ($54.18). Extra Nunchuks will cost AU$29.95 ($23.20), as will the Classic Controller. A Wii component video cable will go for AU$49.95 ($38.70).

As for Wii Points, the currency which will be used to purchase Virtual Console games for the Wii, Aussie gamers will have to pay AU$30 ($23.24) for 2,000 points (US gamers pay $20 for 2,000 Wii points). Virtual Console NES games will cost 500 Wii points, Super NES will go for 800, and N64 titles will be 1,000 points. Sega Mega Drive titles (known as Sega Genesis in the US) will cost 800 points. And while US gamers will have 30 Virtual Console titles to choose from in December, Australians will only have 26, consisting of 16 Nintendo games and 10 Sega titles.

Nintendo also revealed the pricing of its launch games. Twilight Princess will retail for $99.95 ($77.45), Wii Play will come bundled with a Wii Remote and retail for $79.95 ($61.95), and Wii Sports will be bundled as a pack-in with the Wii. In addition to its trio of first-party launch games, the company expects around 20 third-party titles to be available in Australia for the new console in December.
