    Default Gameboot Logo Editor {Sony Computer Entertainment Logo editable too!}

Messing around with the rco a bit, I found that you could edit the Gameboot logo, you can even edit Sony Computer Entertainment logo in the hardboot, so here's how:

    Video:

    Link :

    Instructions:

-Use RCOedit.exe which is included in the pack, choose the opening_plugin.rco.
    -Choose tex_psp_logo and click replace.
-Choose the bmp you like (has to be exact same size and 256 colors)
-After you've done that, it saves automatically, so flash it to vsh/resource.

Editing the Sony Computer Entertainment Logo:
Do the same steps, but with tex_logo

Yahoo! Very good! We're seeing all kinds of customizations to the XMB lately...I'm liking this..but I can't "fully" customize my PSP because I'm on 3.10 OE-A' ..I'd been thinking of going back to 3.03...but I'll wait a little longer..with the hope of DAX's words and his latest release.[3.03/3.10 mixed for U.P. users]

Edited: Hey I like my Posts number..

Awesome, I'll give this a shot after school.

UP stands for Undiluted Platinum, it is the PSP's first modchip. It was released about half a year ago now. It allows you to have two firmwares installed at once, as it uses the 1.5 firmware to enable homebrew and other things on the 2.71 official UP firmware.

Your link doesn't work. I get the 404 page not found error.

    Shouldn't the correct link be

    ?
It seems to be unavailable though.

But I can confirm that this does work, on all firmware's except 3.10OE. And it does work on 3.10OE aswell, but you can't load any PSX games.

Not entirely true, bstronga found a way, let me go to maxconsole and find his fix

How have a fully customized opening_plugin.rco, bootwave, custom coldboot text + psx emu fully working.

get yourself a decrypted game_plugin.prx of your _current_ firmware.
open it with hexeditor make a search for opening_plugin.rco and look for
    flash0:/vsh/resource/opening_plugin.rco

    change it to lets say:
    flash0:/vsh/resource/0pening_plugin.rco (Thats a zero, not a capital o)
    save.

rename the original 3.03/3.10 opening_plugin.rco to 0pening_plugin.rco (Thats also a zero, not a capital o)

    flash game_plugin.prx to vsh/nodule and 0pening_plugin.rco to vsh/ressource.
