Rumor: Donkey Kong 64 coming to the DS?

The folks over at NeoGAF are reporting that the latest issue of Ngamer has an interesting chunk of rumor in it. In the latest issue, a reader writes in asking if Donkey Kong 64 could appear on the Virtual Console for the Wii, what with the game requiring the expansion pack and all. Apparently, the folks at Rare have been thinking about that game too, but they've been thinking DS and not Wii.

Given that Mario 64 DS doesn't have the best control scheme, we worry about how this game would handle itself in that respect should this rumor turn out to be true. Other than that, we say bring it on.

They should really consider porting over Perfect Dark and Paper Mario...

Oh that would be so sweet. I actually didn't mind the controls for Super Mario 64 DS.

Yeah, I didn't mind the SM64DS controls much either. They're not perfect, but they work; I have all 150 stars. And it's still one of my favorite DS games. Even though I've beaten it, it's still fun to pick it up and kill Bowser every once in a while or play some minigames.

I'm not as excited about Donkey Kong 64 DS, but I'd still probably buy it.

Man, This is one of those games that has me addicted constantly. I always think to myself... "If only it were on a handheld!!". Well, Hopefully this comes about...

nintendo should just port all th n64 classics to ds, they would make so much money, like goldeneye, pd, dk64, mk64, paper mario, banjo games and conker
