    Default PSP Rhythm 7.1 Song Contest #2

    PSP Rhythm is having another song contest! There will be 3 prizes. Prizes include one 4gb memory stick and two 2gb memory sticks for the PSP.

    Announcement:

    PSP Rhythm 7.1 Song Contest 2!!!

    Rules:
    -You can use any samples you like, but you must include the two contest samples provided below.
    -You must submit your song before October 1, 2007
    -Enter as many songs as you like.

    Prizes:
    The grand prize winner will receive a 4.0GB SanDisk PRO Duo Memory stick.
    Two second place winners will receive a 2.0GB SanDisk PRO Duo Memory stick.
    Songs will be judged on creativity, originality, and use of Rhythm 7.1 features.

    Submit your song to [email protected] before October 1, 2007.

    So do the samples have to be identified as "obvious" in the tracks? Meaning they can't be chopped, pitched, or stretched?

    In other words, do I have to make a funk song out of those samples?

    never used this program i am good at reason 3 is this program difficult to use?

    you can do whatever you want to do with the given samples..
    just let them stay recognizable..

    it has a lot of features, so it takes some time b4 you can learn enough of them to produce a 1/2 decent song .
    Using the wave synth envelopes is about as difficult as advanced features in reason .
    you need to be comfortable with single note dynamic editing , up to building and mixing your patterns into songs.

    No the samples do not need to be obvious but you will get more points by using them creatively.
