Nice to see another good old system getting an update. I was an amiga boy back then, but I had a few mates with ST's.
Castaway already runs quite nicely on the psp but a new update is always welcome.![]()
Skeezix has posted on our forums that he is to release a new version of his excellent Atari ST Emulator for the PSP soon, heres his news:
I've not been fiddling with the older 005 build for awhile, so don't knwo its status on current firmwares.
I've got a new build, 006, with minor changes, coming out soon. It does work on current M33 firmware, at least. (I'm still using kxploited directories in GAME150 in M33 though, for what thats worth.)
Should be a build along soon

CaSTaway/PSP v500 will allready work on the slim PSP m33.
I have a M33 3.60 PSP slim and v500 works once converted to 1.00 Eboot.
Yee-haw!
No more ATARIST dir with Corrupted Icon! (I hope :/)
A support for digitized samples would be welcome![]()
Good stuff! We all appreciate that converting a computer's controls to a console is a lot harder, due to the emulation of the keyboard and/or mouse, that all the games need to run/play them.
Practically all consoles/arcades have the same default controls as the PSP(D-pad, Start, Select, and at least 2 buttons), that make their compatibility easier to implement.
It's really nice to know that he's is going to continue on with this excellent emulator! I'm sure it's gonna be great!
Sorry if this is an old thread (couldnt find a newer one though)...
My question is can the controls for the latest build be altered on the psp?
I;m trying to play North and South but I need to map the shift key so that I can select different characters/armies while in battle??
