    Default Time Baby V12 - MP3 Player

    Time Baby V12 - MP3 Player

    Hi Guys,
This is Time Baby V12 release... or a preview release really,
since there is still much to be done in the V12 Mp3 Player series.

I have released this version a little early due to the fact that it
already provides a better alternative to runing Time Baby under iRshell
to play mp3 playlists to use Time Baby functions and hear music at the same time.
Use of the Mp3 player causes Time Baby to clock the PSP at 333/333 Mhz,
as does the Heart Rate Monitor. Otherwise the CPU is still 133/146 Mhz.

The selected track in the middle is highlighted. It didn't turn out in the screenshot.

    TODO for V12 series:
As I said, there is still much work for this series.
Some text will be replaced by graphics, and some border graphics will be added,
The playlist currently operates in reverse (last song selected is first played),
USB functions will be implemented, and the program will not launch from iRshell,
Headphone remote control functionality may be added, as well as ffwd & rewind,
User playlists might be saved to Memory Stick, CPU may be able to run slower.
Use of the Mp3 browser currently pauses the Solar monitor and Heart rate monitor.
This is not supposed to provide an alternative to the mp3 players out there,
just an alternative to running Time Baby under iRshell to run playlists.

    FAQ:
Q: Does Time Baby run on the PSP Slim and Lite?
    A: No.
Q: Will Time Baby ever run on the PSP Slim and Lite?
A: Not because of any action taken by me.
    Q: Does this bother you?
    A: No.

Donate a 32Mb Memory Stick and see your name appear in the greetings intro screen!
Thanks to Slasher for the heads up on the mp3 player source

    Download from Rapidshare:
Program has been updated.. search for later letters!

    Cheers, Art.

Thanks, yes I think this would be the PSP program I have spent the most time on now.

I forgot to document the controls.
Circle starts the Mp3 Player file browser, and overclocks to 333MHz for the rest of the program session.
Then in the browser, CROSS will exit the browser and play the selected track.
SQUARE will add to the playlist until you press CROSS to exit the browser.
TRIANGLE will stop, or skip to next playlist track.

Pressing CIRCLE to enter the browser clears the current playlist,
but the current track is allowed to finish.

Seriously, I think this is the best release so far. And that FAQ is awesome lol. It won't even run with TimeMachine?

The slim support is no longer a matter of chioce if I want to keep all functionality.
Also, what you see on the screen now, is not intended to be representative of the final result of the V12 series, just a feel for it.
It won't even run with TimeMachine?
It's reported to run, but that's why I said"Not because of any action I take".
It messes up the video so it's not useable, but things may improve in that reguard
with future releases of Time Machine.

This update should take care of the problem with MUSIC folder being in two different places on different
    firmwares. Also some bugfixes.
