Damn, things like this may force me to upgrade from 1.5 finally.
Does anyone know if you can convert a 3.xx eboot into a 1.0/1.5 compatible one, or does it need to be recompiled?
gambiting posted an entry into the Neoflash Coding Contest, heres the full details:
Nickname: Gambiting
Project name : BlowUp!
From : Poland
Division : PSP Game
Original enter : YES
Support Motion : NO
In last NEO Compo this project have won in the top 10 : NO
Project description:
It's an OpenGL,full 3D game,in which you are driving a tank, and you have to destroy your opponents, and collect all coins. Environment is fully textured, with working collisions. Game difficulty changes with each level. Sorry but there is no motion sensing as I don't have fat psp to test it. So,the game is made for 3.xx kernel, runs fine on Slim on 3.90M33-2.
In each level, you have to collect ALL the coins. After you do it,level changes, there are more enemies and more coins to collect. On the hardest level there are 100 coins to collect. Level look is random

looks like a fab game I gotta try this, cheers to gambiting for this cool piece of work.
Don't do it on my behalf, I updated to a CFW.
Thanks anyway.
Homebrew is starting to get released for 3.X so I figured it was time to upgrade.
1.5 served me well (since early 06)![]()
i have already made it. 2 days ago.
....you didnt have your psp since release date?
TA-079 FTW![]()
I guess its a TA-079.
PSP - 1002 on the box, bought in November 05.
I think it came with 1.51, I updated to 1.52 to play burnout then 2.0 for the GTA:LCS before I looked into homebrew. It ran 1.5 (with devhook for GTA) since the MPH 2.0 downgrader came out.
sorry im late, but here it is
i think this one saves you like 800kb vs the PBP
edit:
i really wish 1.00 would have been the "golden firmware" though, the gameboot screen (aka annoying homebrew delay lol) was only 4 seconds
