[Activision CEO pledges 40 Xbox 360 titles in 2006]

Activision CEO Robert Kotick has announced plans for his company to release 40 Xbox 360 games next year—that’s more than 3 games a month! Interestingly enough, the Activision website—which is only compatible with Netscape and IE—lists only two Xbox 360 titles, Call of Duty 2 & Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland; in addition, Activision has only 36 current-gen Xbox games.

Kotick has also predicted price drops for current-gen software in 2006. Woohoo!
