I had some questions, so I emailed the people at the UK site (where I preordered it). Here's what I said:

Hello,
I preordered the GP2X system and I have a few questions about the TV out function:
1.)Will the cable be compatible with a U.S. TV? I'm a little worried about the PAL/NTSC problem.
2.)Will the cable be A/V (composite) or S-Video, or both?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

The TV out cable works with both NTSC and PAL TV's.
The TV out cable has 3 different connections so it will work with almost all possible setups.

Thanks

So my PAL / NTSC Fears are diminished, and I don't have to worry about connecting it to a TV (I have stuff that has S-Video out, but the TVs have A/V inputs only). And we have three different connections. That's probably S-Video, composite, and something else. RF? Hi-Def cables? That setup that uses three cables on my DVD player? What could the hookup be?
Of course, it could be like the TV cable at lik-sang.com and could be S-video, Left Audio, and Right Audio. That's three connectors on the cable.
Didn't know if you guy knew all this, so I decided to post it.
