Will Sega CD and 32X be possible on this handheld?

Ok I know it's harder to optimize code for the PSP because homebrew developers are left to figure things out for themselves on the PSP. However with the GP2X will things like this be possible? I'm hoping with the GP2X's open source development that more will be possible then what is now possible on the PSP where emulators are concerned.

Probably. Especially since the processor type is known so there are more programmers familiar with asm for the platform.

Reesy said something about the MegaCD, but what about the 32X? I quite doubt it'll be possible, especially since fullspeed emulation on a PC requires around 800Mhz. But it'd be great to see Virtua Racing, Darxide, etc.

I would love to see Mega CD emulation, I think it is possible. Its early days for GP2X and we already have perfect speed Mega Drive emulater as well as very progressive Playstation emulater so you never know

Yea, i should have specified. MegaCD probably 32x doubtably. The 32x has actual 32 hardware, and without hardware accellerated emulation, i don't see that working out on top of genesis. If it does it won't be full speed, and you can forget about 32xCD games.
