[EA announces Rugby 06]

Electronic Arts has released a scrum of screenshots for newly announced EA Sports title, Rugby 06, due for PS2, Xbox and PC next year.

Emphasising a focus on free flowing rugby action, Rugby 06 features enhanced passing and dead-ball controls to reward decisive attacking play, and also includes top-flight competitions like the Six Nations, Lions Tour and Guinness Premiership.

Rugby 06 is currently in development, with a release date yet to be confirmed
