I'm thinking about getting a gp2x when lik-sang finally gets the second revision ones in. and I've heard that it can run any of the gp32 programs (is this correct?)
are there any emulators that run better in their gp32 ports rather than their gp2x ports that are worth having?
and any reccommendations on gp32 games that are good?

There are emulators out that the GP32 does not have but the current ones tha the GP32 does have are just below par at present expect for ScummVM

Electronia, defendgiun are two that spring to mind.
