As i ask in the title...
What are the differences?
And, does the games for PC's Linux work on GP2X Linux?

Thanks ;-)

Short answer. Yes it is different to PC Linux and no not all PC Linux games work on it

Long answer. The only thing that the average PC Linux distro has in common with the GP2X is the kernal. Thats it. PC linux games can be ported if they are suitable for the handheld, eg SDL, 2D, 320x240 resolution, control scheme but don't expect Quake 3 anytime.

Thank you again :p
I've asked that because I've found on Internet some instructions to play old games for windows (like Mechwarrior 2, Syndicate etc...).
I've also found old games programmed for Linux, for example there is a version of Heavy Gear 2 also for Linux!

P.S. I saw that there are DOS emulator for linux, i think they can be useful for emulation...

DOS box is being looked at, but it's going to take a lot of work, it's slow enough on a P4.
