Hey, I've recently got my GP2x and so far I love it :) I do have a couple of problems with a few emulators. Some work great like Drmd and SquidgeSnes, but with others I will get a black screen such as nesgp2x and snesgp2x. I heard with these emulators you have to download some lib file, but I could never find the download for it. The other problem I'm having is in the program madplaygp2x. Every time I load the program, it takes me back to the main screen. (and yes im not pressing the back button :p )

If you can help me it would be appreciated-minkster

Have you downloaded and installed the SDL libraries?
If not: http://www.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,31,869

Thank you so much! :) I'm new to this, so I didn't know where to get this file from...I'm gonna try it out soon.

Ah, it still didn't change anything...I had them installed in the root directory of my sd card and no luck. I ran it under utilities too, but I still get the same problems.

EDIT: Nevermind, I unzipped something I shouldn't have. Now the rest of my emulators work, except for madplaygp2x...it still goes back to the main screen.

Have you put the roms in the right directory?

From the readme:

Now you need to copy some Genesis games to your GP2X. These *MUST* go
into the /roms/megadrive directory on your sd card. This is to simplify the
rom selection process and it also makes my life alot easier. :)

The roms must go in
ROOT:\roms\megadrive

folders are case sensitive.

Dont to scan for Roms in the Drmdx menu as well.
