[Is there a homebrew that let's you play PSP on an SDTV?]

So the PSP only allows you the play games on the TV if it supports progressive scan, which kind of sucks, so I'm asking if there is a homebrew that bypasses this restriction.

Also, since updating to CFW 5.00, my PSP tube has stopped working, anyone know if a 5.00 compatible PSPtube is out?
