[PS3 Development Console]

Hi There,

I obtained a job lot of PS3's recently as I run a games business online, however, I'm in need of some advice and I'm a bit confused with one of the consoles that we got hold of...

I've put the console as a developement console as that what it looks like to me, maybe I'm wrong??

Just a few questions:

1) The firmware comes on V1.02, is this something that is really old and outdated? Or is it something that is worth a bit of money and very rare?

2) Could anyone enlighten me and let me know if it is a dev console or test console etc?

3) The console can not be updated via normal firmware updates, is there a reason for this?

4) How much is it worth :) ? (the all important question).

5) Could you let me know anymore information about it, or provide any links to something?

Well, you could try contacting a ps3 hacking community, and your console is most probably a store demonstration model.

Dev consoles look completely different and you would definitely be able to tell the difference between the two.
