[A little help with Duke Nukem 3D]

I am having trouble getting Duke Nukem to work on my GP2X. I downloaded Duke Nukem3D 1.3 from the 3DRealm website and got the grp and cfg files from it. I put them in the same directory as the gpe file and even put the con files in the con files folder and all I get when I start is a black screen that causes me to have to restart my GP2X. My GP2X has firmware version 2.0.0 could this be causing it??? Any help would be greatly appreciated
