I wasn't too impressed, until I saw the embedded-movie-in-3D-environment ... what was that? Is that some kind of feature for the XGP? Both confuses and intrigues me...

I just wish they would release more information on it, such as whether it'll be at all open source / homebrew-friendly.

Not sure it's like GP2X, it seems to have proprietary operating system...

The XGP has been described as a "commercial game system" which makes it sound less of a homebrew game system. I wonder if programs made for the gp2x will be useable/easily portable to the xgp.
