How can I set this as my default movie player i.e. I click on Movie and select my-vid.mp4 and have this player play it. Also is mplayer also the Default music player or is some thing else used, I ask because all my music is in aac a.k.a .m4a unencrypted of course.

I believe you have to replace it on the NAND (don't quote me on that and hop over to http://gp32x.com for the answers). The music player is not Mplayer.
