[GP2X PSX4ALL Beta 1.8???]

Hey I'd actually joined the forum about a year ago without posting anything, and now i can sound like an absolute 'n00b' as I'll no doubt be known as I now.

On with the matter in hand, does anyone have an explanation for either of these:

They seem to both be running FFVII much faster than I'd seen on more popular videos, especially those linked to from the GP2X PSX4ALL forums on Dcemu.
I am a potential user of a GP2X and was wondering if these were anything sooned to be released or something? Please excuse me as I'm rather bereft of the technical knowledge surrounding emulation although I have successfully experienced PSX emulation on my Mac and SNES/NES/MSX etc. etc. on my DC.

Hope someone can enlighten me on here
