[DVD writer that came with comp good enough?]

Is the dvd writer that came installed on my computer good enough to write wii games without error? On the front of the computer it says DVD±RW Double Layer 8x DVD±R/RW drive with CD writer capabilities.

Will this be a good enough writer to burn wii games and be playable on wii with a mod chip or do I need to get a new one? If so, which is the cheapest/easiest to install that will work good enough to burn wii games?

You could alway try buying the games.

1. I don't know what kind of computer you have, but I don't think Wii games need special burners
2. Modchip needed for Wii backups
3. You need to dump your Wii games before burning them

The reason I ask is when burning a dvd, sometimes the dvd skips on my player, so I don't know if I need a new burner or not, or if I just need to slow down burn speed. Anyways, thank you, and is there a recommended burning software that is better for wii games?
