[Need Help bad.]

Ok heres the situation. I got my wii the day it came out, in September or whenever. Since then I have trid desperately to get it to connect. I go to wireless connection, search for acess point, and I get one. The one for my house and it has all 4 bars. But then once i connect it says Error: 52230 <-(i think thats it i turned my wii off in anger) Cannot Connect to these internet options. I did an IP adress I tried filling in on the stuff and NOTHING will work. If anyone has any tips or anything plz help.

did you plug in wifi usb to the usb port?

go to your router settings on your computer, and change your channel to 1.
