GP2X Help Before I Buy One!

I'm about 95% decided on buying a GP2X and after reading forums dated from last year I just thought I'd ask a few questions in order to get some up to date info.
1) Is SNES emulation pretty much perfect now?
2) What about MegaDrive emulation?
3) Has anyone heard of a new release of UAE4ALL? I've seen some Youtube clips and was pretty disappointed..
4) How good is the Scumm emulation? I'd like to play Full Throttle, Monkey Island 1 & 2, Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle and The Dig. Will these titles be playable?
5) What is overclocking and will I need to worry about it?
I'd really appreciate any help as I just need a tiny amount of persuasion!

1) Not perfect no. Good enough to play, yes.
2) Now that IS perfect.
3) Nope.
4) Monkey Island, Sam and Max and DOTT are all playable. Not 100% about the others.
5) Overclocking is setting the CPU speed higher then what it is rated at. No, you don't have to worry about it too much. With Snes emulation, you may have to overclock a little.

i have a gp2x and megadrive emu is perfect and on pocketsness i have over a gig of games and they all play perfect. from mario to mortal kombat, 60fps. not to mention doom, quake, GBA emu, speccy, c64 the amiga emulators arnt terrible, some games work nearly at full speed. I have a psp for emu also but dont use it now i have a gp2x, dunno why its just the gp2x is amazin. Simply being able to swap your AA batteries over once they have died with some more is excellent.

Thanks mrbob3, that's really comforting to know. I'm definitely sold on the idea of getting one now and am already counting down the days until I get paid! I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
Kind regards

The Snes is not perfect. Close, but not perfect. There are discussions in place by the devs on how they can make it faster.
Worth a read if you need to have Snes perfect on the console.
