[Help with MAME please!]

Hi all,

I am a newbie to Dreamcast and have just bought myself one to see what I can do with it.

I've read around a few threads and can't see an answer to my question - I can't figure out MAME.

I downloaded http://digita.mame.net/MAMED37b6.5Dreamcast.rar from http://digita.mame.net/download.htm although when I boot this image on a CD, I just get a black screen, although I expected a menu of somesort, or a graphical indication as to what to do next, e.g. put in a ROM disc.

MAMEd is like half a decade old. Don't waste your time. A much better choice is the recent MAME4All by Chui and Fox68k.
