is there any other custom firmware for the ds besides flashme? i was lookin for sumthin that could add functionality. im so used to using the psp's custom firmware and i was just wonderin about ds

There's FWNITRO and CreeboMe, but honestly they're not as good as the official one. The main advantage of FWNITRO is that it lets you dump your games to a compatible CF-based card (most devices use some form of SD now) and you can also edit your WFC settings from the firmware itself. That's about it.

I use my DS for snes games too (play them in class) since PSP is harder to hide when teachers near me. Edit: I wanna learn how to make custom psp firmware

I think getting a Card like an R4 of Cyclo certain justifies the cost with all the capabilities it offers. Besides it doesnt void your warranty.
