[DS to Gamecube]

I know this has been asked before in many places around the net and is answered with a "no", but I have another idea. Would it be possible to establish a wireless connection with the Gamecube using the DS using a wavebird wireless controller port piece?

I know data transfer would be extremelly slow, and maybe not even possible since they dont put memory cards in controllers anymore, but I was thinking it might make it possible to load smaller emulators from the DS to play on the Gamecube and TV without the need of any physical mods.
