The Dreamcast is as you know the console that should never have died and luckily for us is the greatest Homebrew and emulation console ever, no other console comes close to it without some sort of modification done to it. [br][br]The GP32 (http://www.gamepark.com) or otherwise known as the Gamepark 32 is a relative unknown console outside of the scenes that follow it, but it is closer to the Dreamcast with a great and legal emulation and homebrew scene which sites like GP32 Xtreme (http://www.gp32x.com/), GP32 Spain (http://www.gp32spain.com/), GP32 News (http://www.gp32news.com/gp32news/index.php) and also GP32 Emulation (http://gp32emu.dcemu.co.uk/) post news and give downloads and keep the scene as a whole going.[br][br]Other sites like GBAX.com (http://www.gbax.com/main.pl) have had some great coding competitions in the last year or so for the GP32 and theres a great review of the Backlit GP32 again at GBAX.com (http://www.gbax.com/main.pl).[br][br] GBAX.com (http://www.gbax.com/main.pl) and Lik Sang (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?products_id=4362&lsaid=219793) are the two biggest sites worldwide for supporting the GP32 community.[br][br]When you look at the Gamepark 32 and its scenes you realise that it has a fantastic homebrew and emulation scene much like the Dreamcasts and in some ways is a Portable Dreamcast, and with that in mind is why the idea for the Dream Coding Grand Prix was to have both the GP32 and Dreamcast Scenes merge for a great coding competition.

Only in terms of homebrew. AFAIK GP32 commercial software is very much lacking.
