Although i run a GP32 emulation site, i have never owned one of the babys and was wondering how easy or hard it is to set up and whats the quality of the console, responsive ness and anything else to take into consideration.

Wow, you just *need* to get one. For some of this reasons:

* Buy a 128MB SMC card, and you're just packed up with power. You don't need anymore.
* The size of the screen is just *amazing*. It's by far the best portable screen on a console.
* The throughtput of the processor is brutal. That ARM9 beats everything!
* The console is pretty trivial to be configured. Even for Linux/Unix.
* Its devkit is not so powerful, but it has been designed with simplicity in mind. If you want to program for Dreamcast, I advise you to practice first with this little baby. It's just the processor, and nothing else matters.
* It's a portable multimedia center that you and your wife would enjoy. I've been watching Futurama series (captured from the public domain TV) in my GP32 while being in a bus. Of course, mp3/ogg/wma playback is guaranteed.
* Lots of emulators, homebrew apps, and a big (huge) scene that shares so much with the Dreamcast's one.
* Inminent debut in Europe with backlighted screen.
* 12 hours of unstoppable play.
* Available a RF unit to wirelessly communicate with other Gameparks.
* Almost no commercial support. This means that the machine is an alternative one. A big alternative.

Hope that I convinced you, Wragg!
