[gp2x won't run all homebrew. faulty?]

hi,

i love my gp2x but i can't seem to run all the homebrew sometimes i try to run something and i think it is going to run a program only to be returned to the menu. a good example is ffplay i want to run some movie files i go to utility and pick the executible etc and the screen goes black and i'm back to the menu. it doesn't run. or sometimes games like tetris or other homebrew... i don't understand how this can be surely all versions of the gp2x are so similar that any prg should run. my gp2x runs fine when watching movies or mp3's and the like. why won't some prg's run. and can anyone give a 100% guide to get ffplay working? thanks.

ha! ok i have the file running. but my rm file has audio only. ie. the sound is heard but the screen is black. it seems the file has to be called video.avi. i wish there was a readme file instead of trawling the net for hours...

if i remember correctly rm is not a supported format you need to covert it to format that the gp2x support
