[Devil May Cry 1/3 over component cables.]

Hey guys, I've noticed a problem when playing both of the mentioned games on my PS3, the game is too dark. Dark as in, I can rarely see the Marionettes (in 1) clearly, I can only tell that they're next to me because their blades shine. Has anyone else experienced this?

EDIT: Never mind, I don't know how or why, but it's not happening to me anymore.
