Why Resident Evil sucks now...

Well, it's like this...

The story is crap. The plot is all over the place. Chris looks like ass now. The spin off games are horrendously unappealing. The remakes are just cash grab titles with cut content, and they retain that generic shooter feel. Like, bullet-sponge zombies are supposed to be scary. The whole shoot and loot feel of the sequels makes it more tedious than frightening.

I don't know what else to say. I think Capcom sold out in 2005, by making the games into action. Now their games feel like pale imitations of the ones that got released during Capcom's glory era.
