Chrome for iOS has 1.5 per cent market share

Google browser is a legitimate competitor for Safari.
After being announced last month, the Chrome web browser for iOS already has a 1.5 per cent share of the iOS browser market.
Little surprise seeing how, just hours after release, it became the most popular free app in Apple's iOS App Store.
According to online advertising network Chitika, while Chrome is making strides Safari continues to dominate the market.
The firm also found that almost 14.5% of iOS users surf the web using other apps - though not from dedicated third-party browsers, but instead from in app-browsing through programs like Facebook.
